Prams
Prams can be transported on both chairlifts. Our lift staff will help you get on and off the lift. The panoramic walkway around the summit is pram-friendly. (Note: the panoramic walkway is only accessible during the summer season.)

Toilets
Toilets can be found:
Directly next to the valley station (barrier-free) or next door in the Gasthof Grabner (not barrier-free). At the middle station in s'Balzplatzerl (barrier-free). At the summit in Terzerhaus (barrier-free).
Transportation of dogs
It is possible to transport dogs on the two chairlifts. It is the owner's responsibility to keep the animal safe during the ride. Tickets for dogs are the same price as for children.
Eat & drink
Enjoy warm, regional hospitality in the Gasthof Grabner next to the valley station, in the quaint s'Balzplatzerl next to the middle station, or the contemporary Bergrestaurant Terzerhaus at the summit. The traditional and cosy tavern "zum Bäreneck" is also open in the winter.
Chair lift travel times
The travel time from the valley station to the middle station with the quad chairlift "Bodenbauer Express" is about 10 minutes in summer and in winter.
The journey time from the middle station to the summit with the double chairlift "Gipfelbahn" is about 15 minutes in summer and about 7 minutes in winter.
Panoramic walkway
The pram-friendly panoramic walkway route leads around the summit of the Gemeindealpe and has a total length of approx. 800 m.
Hiking
The Gemeindealpe is the ideal starting point for many different hikes. Options range from leisurely walks to demanding multi-day tours.
Mountain carts
The mountain cart track starts at the middle station and has a length of 4.6 km. The journey takes about 15 minutes. The mountain cart track is in operation during the summer season.
T-bar lifts in the winter
The two-person T-bar lift "Birkischlepper" has a length of 673 m. The travel time is about 4 minutes.
The one-person button lift "Grabnerlift" has a length of 176 m. The travel time is about 1.5 minutes.
Slopes in the winter
Skiing in Lower Austria on the Gemeindealpe Mitterbach. 15.5 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes await you.
- Black (difficult): 1.5 km ‒ steepest slope in Lower Austria with 74% incline
- Red (intermediate): 7 km
- Blue (easy): 7 km
